After a week of stress, sleep & stitching I attended the Cambridge Art Fair on Saturday.

I'm so so grateful to Scott for letting me know about it and getting me in touch with Jacqueline, and also to Jacqueline herself for letting me come and sell my stuff! It's the first time in ages that I've actually sat down and made anything, so that alone made it all worthwhile.

It was my first experience of being the other side of the table at a craft/art fair and I didn't really know what to expect but I met some really lovely people & found out about some really rad artists too.

I thought Rob had got the last tube back so not knowing how the fuck I was going to get back to Uxbridge, they offered to let me sleep on their friend's floor.

Unfortunately it turned out he hadn't made it back and had spent the past few hours walking around London looking for a tube station. So I had to bail and spent the rest of the evening/morning chasing Rob around London trying to find him. I got asked by a quite presentable looking man in a suit sat at Liverpool Street station if I'd be interested in being an actress for the 'adult production' company he works for. Politely declined. (£5000 a day though apparently??...but still, no).

Then I got started on on the night bus by a lady in an Eastpak parka who thought I was laughing at her. I was laughing at Rob, but once she shouted 'Don't you fucking laugh at me you ugly ugly looking cunt.' I got the giggles and had to stare into my lap to avoid getting into a fight.

We were out so late that we actually missed the last nightbus, had to get the tube back to Uxbridge and got to Rob's about half 7.

Absolutely ridiculous, but totally worth it.

Went to Nottingham this weekend to visit Elliot before he runs away to China, only had about an hour and a half to look round the shops but found this beaut for £3! (as well as the sunglasses, a cute 1960's top and a couple of other shirts.

We went to Rev's intending to get the last train home but ended up in a gay club till 6am, got McDonalds, went to someones house for a cup of tea then got the train back and crashed out. The next day when we both surfaced, we got Chinese takeaway and watched Regular Show. I'm going to miss him :(

Despite the, er...circumstances. I had a really really awesome birthday. (Thanks guys ♡)

I finished work on the 6th & my Nonna came down from Derby to stay for a few days which was lovely.
Not expecting to be doing anything, Luke, Aaron & Ollie texted me on the friday night asking if I wanted to go out & I spent the eve of my 21st sat in the car park near Poco Loco drinking champagne out of paper cups.

Then on my birthday we went to Moogie Wonderland where I spent the night dancing, wing manning for Oliver & had to be carried home.

The following weekend we went camping to the seaside.

The camp site was even better than I could have hoped for. I wanted to camp on the beach but settled for a camp site in a seaside town thinking we could just pop out to the beach once we'd set up, but no...what I got was this:

We were literally right by the beach. It was beautiful.
I never really thanked these guys for getting me through the past few weeks & I don't know if they'll read this but I'd really have fallen apart without them, I owe them big time.

After coming home exhausted, I had a shower and something to eat & decided to try the Daria dvds.

I don't think I can quite explain how happy I was when my little tv started playing Splendora and the Daria logo appeared.

I hadn't really realised until Oska (mockingly) pointed it out, but I do actually believe that Daria holds the key to handling every situation life presents me with. He doesn't agree. He clearly just hasn't seen enough episodes yet. Paha.

Just got some photos developed. These are from last month when Elliot and his friend Johnson, (who live in Cambridge) rang me at 11pm asking what my address was because they were in Kent and coming to see me.

We drove around looking for somewhere to spend the evening and ended up on the Isle of Sheppey of all places.

After driving through the eerie circus town in Leysdown and past lots of gypsy caravans thinking we might actually have stumbled into a horror film, we found a really lovely grassy bank overlooking the beach and sat talking and drinking till the sun came up.

I was involved in something beautiful last night.
It was at my auntie's 80th birthday party and my cousin was doing the music. He was going round asking for requests & when asked what I wanted to hear, very much not expecting him to take it as a dare and actually play it, I said Slipknot.

We got away with it for about 30 seconds before all the slightly squiffy old people realised and made us turn it off.

Naturally, being the only person in the room with metal in my face, everyone assumed it was my doing. But I didn't care by that point because there was a free bar and I was really quite drunk.

I came home (still quite drunk) cooked some chips, had a Guinness and passed out in my pants.
All in all, it was a good night!

Today I started reading Slaughterhouse 5 by Kurt Vonnegut Jr.

I started reading it before, about five years ago, and according to the reeeally bad photobooth picture of me and my friend Becky from when we were 14 that I was using as a bookmark, I got quite far through it.

Anyway. I'm only a couple of chapters in, but I'm really enjoying it. In fact, I enjoyed the first chapter so much, that I wanted to read it again once I'd finished it (but that would have just been stupid, so I continued on to the second chapter instead).

There's something so lovely about the narrative.
I quite envy his kids/grandkids. I can only imagine how amazing it would have been to sit down with him and hear stories about his life.

I'll definitely be reading more of his books after this one.

Wow. What a day!
After a bad start thinking I was late, getting lost in Shoreditch and eventually finding Sclater Street thanks to a lovely police man, I arrived at Superette to find out it started an hour later than expected and that I was actually 40 minutes early! Phew!

The talk was fantastic. And I'm a bit in love with Brick Lane ♡

I was quite nervous about it but I actually quite enjoyed being in London on my own.
The only time I really felt at a bit of a loss, was when something dripped on my head and not knowing what it was, assumed it was bird shit, then started feeling like I was getting funny looks from people.

Being pooed on by a bird is supposed to be good luck right?

I nearly asked an old lady, but instead opted to just put a hat on.

I still don't know what it was. I guess I'll find out when I get home :\

Didn't manage to get standing tickets for City & Colour. But for the most part, I'm just pleased I got tickets at all!

The whole thing has been ridiculous. They kept putting them on sale earlier than the advertised time. So even though I got up at 8.30 this morning ready for the advertised start time of 9.00, standing tickets on SeeTickets had sold out by 8.57.

There's some left on Ticketmaster, but I'd already bought the seated ones by the time I realised that. Plus they wouldn't let me buy more than one.

If I didn't love you so much Dallas Green, I'd totally have not bought tickets out of protest.

Recently I’ve been really scared that there’s someone outside in my garden when I go downstairs to brush my teeth at night. I know it’s irrational and stupid, but it’s really easy to get into my garden from the alleyway and it’s not all that unlikely round here.

Anyway. I’m brushing my teeth, and all of a sudden this white face appears at the window.
Shit scared, I completely freeze up, let out a bit of a yelp and nearly drop my toothbrush.

I don't know what exactly happened to my natural hair colour, but it doesn't seem to want to show itself, and I couldn't bear the dull brown any longer...so I had a root around my bathroom cupboard and I dyed it green.
You can't see quite how green it is in this photo. I thought it was a tint, but my super porous hair had other ideas.

I nearly made a kid cry today at work...maybe he thought I was a witch.

I thought I'd look around the shops for a bit after work. But after going in Topshop and seeing shelves full of replica Riot Grrrl & boxfresh Kinderwhore (they've taken that too Sophie D:) I had a bit of a breakdown and ended up in M&S looking at those trousers with the elasticated waste bands.
To backtrack a bit...I've been having a slight identity crisis the past few days. It was starting to feel like I'd forgotten who I was and I didn't know what I liked anymore. I was feeling completely boring and like I looked like everyone else. Which is so much worse than looking stupid or OTT. I felt like a fucking cliché.

Yep. According to my less than together state of mind, this is what I want to wear.

I've mentioned these shoes in previous posts & I've been whining about them no end.
But after being tempted by an advert for (very disappointing) £5.00 shoes from Office. I found these in the sale section of the website again!
They've been there once recently as 'last available pairs' in a size 8 so I didn't think too much of it. But this time they had the dream shoes in a 6!!

I pretty much lost any sense of practicality and decided I was going to buy them even though they were a size too big & hope my feet would grow/wear them with lots of pairs of tights & socks & multiple insoles....whatever it took to make them fit.
Then I realised they also had one pair of the black ones in a 5!

After spending the best part of ten minutes trying to decide between the shoes I've been dreaming of for the past two years being slightly too big, or a similar less beautiful pair that would actually fit, I finally stopped being stupid and realised that the black ones are pretty cute & buying shoes that I know are too big is just silly.

So now I'm going to be waiting at the door every morning waiting for the postman and scaring him by opening the door before he puts the letters through the letterbox.

Some people are ridiculous. I'm not even going to start on how much it's pissed me off cause I'd be here all day.
I think letting them speak for themselves just shows how fucking stupid some people can be.

I have no problem with people who eat meat. I have a problem with people who are ignorant about what's in their food and how it's produced but still proceed to be abusive (with bad spelling) towards people who hold different beliefs to them.
You like meat, we don't. Get the fuck off of the PETA website if you're not interested in animal rights?!
( Don't get me wrong, some vegetarians are equally as bad, trying to shove their beliefs down peoples throats and that annoys me just as much. Raising awareness is one thing, being pushy and thinking your opinion is right and everyone elses is wrong is just awful. )

I've been going proper crazy the past few days.
Ridiculous moodswings & absolute headfucks.
Going from 'I couldn't care less' to absolute paranoid crazy jealous bitch.

Last week I delved into the headache inducing world that is my old laptop to retrieve the episodes of Daria & Powepuff Girls Z that were on it. I only ever managed to get the first season of Daria but the past few day's i've been hunting down the others and they're on their way to being mine <3

(There's a Daria computer game?!!? But I can't find it for sale in the uk :( )

I'm currently heartaching over pandacam. Wishing I had spent £20 more and bought a C grade ipod touch from that Cex place instead of a 3rd gen nano, so I could watch pandacam wherever I can find wireless internet access. :( But I didn't.

I have buyers remorse. ahah.

asdfghj none of that is related. My thoughts are so ridiculously sporadic* at the moment.

Marc Jacobs Daisy is my favourite perfume, and I wasn't expecting Lola to match up to it, but I had a sniff when I spotted it at Boots the other day, and it's equally as yummy <3
Plus the bottle is supercute.
I keep thinking about how nice it was. (I didn't know it was possible to fantasise about a smell, other than that of my boytoy)
However. The smallest bottle you can get is £45, which is money I don't have :(

1.30-Went to bed.
5.30-Got up.
7.00-Caught the train from Gillingham.
8.00-Got to London Victoria.
9.00-Got the tube to Paddington Station and caught the train to Bristol.
10.30-Got to Bristol.
11.30-Got to the end of the queue & queued for five hours until 4.30 to get into the Banksy exhibition.
11.30 pm-Got home.

I bet I still wont be able to sleep though.

There was a MASSIVE cuddly panda as one of the prizes on a ring toss at Alton Towers. Rob tried to win it for me but it was pretty impossible :( When we got back to Rob's house he showed me this song. Since then, I can't get it out of my head. I was looking Zooey Deschanel up to see what films she's been in that might be good, and found out that she was the girl in the Offspring video for 'She's Got Issues' .

I remember seeing the video when I was about 12 and thinking how awesome the girl in it was. I wanted my hair like that for years after.

I came downstairs to this the other morning...

He wouldn't get down and come indoors because of the kitten. He's such a wimp.
The (3 week old) kitten belongs to the lady next door. She doesn't have a catflap and works long hours, so when mummy cat decided to smuggle her kittens out of the bathroom window, this little one wandered into our garden. It meowed at me until I picked it up and then it fell asleep. <3 every time I tried putting it down it'd meow at me and try to leap onto my hand from wherever i'd left it. Soso cute.

Thursday evening went to Jamie's house again.
This time, instead of scrabble we played 'Scene it-Friends edition' lol.
I never knew 19 year old boys enjoyed playing board games so much.

Last night we went to Jamie's again (I haven't been out this much in ages.) and went out around Maidstone.
Some drunk bald man thought he was well funny when he walked past me and went 'LOOK! It's Pete Doherty!'
Why? Because I was wearing a hat.
Then, when we walked past the River Bar on the way back to Jamie's, some fatty thought he was welll hard and shouted 'Oh look it's three queers and their tramp' lolol. Recurring theme?

I wasn't sure about these shoes when I first saw them, but the further from my grasp they fall, the more I want them. I actually feel like crying right now.
Because they're a bit like Marmite, everyone who bought a pair, bought them because they love them, and not to sell on. Which I know is great cause it means they're not being sold on ebay for ridiculous prices. But it also means I will never own them, ever. And right now, I'd pay all the money I have for a pair. Maybe it's just because I can't have them?

I'm even more gutted because when I was on a hunt for my capri nike trainers (that I couldn't find anywhere) and finally found a pair in an Office in London when I went up there last year, these shoes were on sale for £35 (!!!!) in the shop I bought the trainers from. And I stopped to look at them but thought...'Nah. '

I'm getting so ridiculously obsessed that I just considered emailing Office pleading for them to see if they had any left in a dark and dusty corner of one of their warehouses/back of one of their shops, like someone would actually read it and care aha.
There MUST be a pair left somewhere.

I drink, on average, two cups of tea an hour every hour i'm awake. I'm not quite sure how many that is a day but I think it's more than is healthy. Anyway, we didn't have any milk for a couple of days last week, I wasn't bothered cause I was drinking green tea instead, but I had the worst headache for two days solid.

Why?
Because I'm a massive caffeine junkie apparently.

I thought I was just dehydrated, but no amount of liquid or headache tablets made a difference.
& even though I didn't fancy a cup of tea that much, as soon as I had one, it went away.

How stupid is that?

I just bought this, cause it's on sale, from £54 to £20! and I know i'd cry if I missed out on it. They only had size 10 left but it should fit ok.
It's on sale at asos too for £30 and they have it in an 8, but I think I can deal with a bit of baggyness if it saves me £10.

I'm going to wear it everydayyy <3 till I smell like panda armpits. :3

This weekend was odd but nice.
I cancelled the picnic on Saturday due to yucky weather, and on Sunday my Nonna, uncle, auntie and cousins came down from Derby/Leicester for a couple of days.

They arrived Sunday afternoon, and all stayed in a hotel (except Nonna, who stayed here) and then we met up again Monday, had dinner then they went home. It was brief and we didn't do a lot. We mostly just played Halo and Gears of War (I suck at Halo so much but I love love love GoW <3) but it was nice just to spend time hanging out.

They're all off to Italy tomorrow. I miss it so much. :(
The cute little village half way up a mountain where Nonna has a house. Laughing at the Italian boys with their mopeds and mullets. The awesome night markets along the beach and the weekend morning markets in the village square where Nonna does hard bargaining and haggles until we get stuff cheap ^-^

Not to mention two whole weeks of Nonna's cooking <333333 yummy ice cream, the village arcades with Time Crisis and the crazy Italian shops. Ohhh. It's just so lovely. If we had internet at the house out there, (and I could speak Italian) I'd never want to come home.

These are the only two photo's I can find...and they don't show any Italy, just how ginger I am naturally! (which, strangely, I also kinda miss. I've been waiting for it to grow out for aages now, and still no ginge? I think it's gone forever)

Idk where all the photo's have gone? I'll keep looking cause I'm feeling nostalgic.

I found this website a while ago, but I just came across it again and it's even more fantastic than I first thought...

It's got the tempura seaweed! <3 (as well as the tomato flavour and others)
And lots of noodles!
AND
these seaweed animal biscuits that I bought about 3 years from Chinatown, but they don't sell them any more, and I thought I'd never see them again!
